INDUSTRY-LEADING.
FARM COMPLIANCE

The Farm Compliance

We, The Believe Club Farm hold the view that compliance in farming and production is not a marketing message- it is a federal requirement.

As the CBD industry evolves, we believe it will be necessary for federally complaint brands to source solely from complaint, scaled American hemp producers.

Drawing from the above principles, we have achieved the industry-leading quality assurance standards and accreditations that modern food and nutraceutical companies follow in farming and production- a principle we insist is not a market strategy but a federal requirement.

Why Does Compliance Matter?

Compliance is the basis of producing high-quality CBD products that meet the international food safety standards currently being met by modern food and nutraceutical companies, failure to which you are putting the consumer at risk.

To ensure compliance, our hemp-derived products are subject to stringent internal and 3rd party compliance and quality testing measures.

Because of our strict compliance, The Farm has earned several badges of honour, having been certified by the following reputable domestic and international regulatory agencies:

  • Brand Reputation Compliance Global Status (BRCGS)

BRCGS boasts its recognition under the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), having a very rigorous audit scheme that is way above the minimum food and safety regulations provided for by the Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP).

For over 20 years, BRCGS has set up a benchmark for global food safety standards. The standards have been adopted in more than 130 countries with over 70% acceptance by the top 10 global retailers.

With such a sterling track record, we, the Believe Club, are delighted to be audited and accredited by BRCGS under issue 8 standard. The issue specifies the quality, safety, and operational criteria that are required to be in place within a food manufacturing organisation to fulfill obligations with regard to legal compliance and protection of customers.

  • Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)

Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) for food and supplement production provide minimum requirements that manufacturers must meet to ensure high quality consistently.

The cGMPs works in tandem with the FDA and other regulatory agencies to investigate the capacity and compliance before approval. This accreditation mainly focuses on standards required to meet the guidelines set up by agencies that control the authorisation and licensing of the manufacture and sale of food and supplements as provided for in sections ( 21CFR110) and (21CFR111), respectively.

We are proud to be audited and accredited against current Good Manufacturing Practices for food and supplement production.

  • Certificate of Kosher Pareve

The Kosher certification, which aims to interpret ancient dietary and adapt them to modern times, stamps confidence in our farm products.

The Believe Club products are manufactured under the supervision of the Kashruth Division of the orthodox union and are certified Kosher Pareve.

This certification affirms that our products are ‘clean’ and proper in accordance with the orthodox law.

  • Association for Cannabinoid Organisation (ACI)

Association for Cannabinoid Organisation (ACI)- Novel Foods Consortium for the Cannabinoid Industry

The Association for Cannabinoid Organisation (ACI) is a membership organisation for businesses committed to nurturing a safe, legal and flourishing commercial cannabis extract market in the UK and Europe.

The organisation has submitted several novel food applications on behalf of its members on CBD safety study to the Food and Drugs Agency (FDA)

As a measure to provide additional coverage for novel food initiatives, our farm joined ACI as of July 23, 2020. Though the process undoubtedly experienced some hiccups, The Believe Club remains committed to UK and EU’s regulatory compliance

  • Generally Regarded as Safe (GRAS)

For a product to be generally regarded as safe, it must have a safety profile. This safety profile can only be established after toxicological studies are carried out in accordance with the laid down procedures by the Food and Safety Authority (FSA), after which an application is submitted to them for consideration.

At The Believe Farm, we have deeply invested in understanding the safety of our ingredient products. We have completed rigorous toxicological studies on our products to keep up with potential upcoming domestic and international regulatory pressures.

  • The National Animal Supplement Council (NASC)

The National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) is a conglomerate of pre-qualified companies that supply products and supplements to the pet supplement industries.

NASC maintains the highest integrity levels by ensuring total quality confidence throughout the supply chain.

By working with NASC, the integrity of our products is assured.

All these certifications testify to the highest compliance and quality standard we hold for our products. These efforts are geared towards offering you, the consumer, nothing but the best. This is reinforced by our view that - any compromise in compliance puts the consumer at risk.
